The easiest way to find the colour code for your car is to look in the trunk or boot of your car for the factory build spec sticker which will have the paint code showing on it.

The sticker should look like this :

So the answer is to grab the smartphone to text a message? The Internet is a global information system. There are many websites as to the information available from the Vehicle Identification Number. IF you have done the correct procedure or even looked in the owner's manual of this vehicle you could have located the information as to the VIN number. There is no color code in the VIN number. Then, the next logical step is to call any VW dealership for assistance. Car issues are dealt with locally. VW dealerships are the best source of information as to VW vehicles. Just look at the "answers" you got here. Bye.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://tinyurl.im/aH3fV

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

If your paint code is unreadable from the sticker or plate, or it is missing, you can still find the paint code if you have the Vin#. Problem is, that you can not do this yourself on the internet, only the parts department at your local dealership have computers that can do that. Simply call the parts counter, give them the vin# and they will tell you the paint code.

The VIN will not tell you the color. If you know the specific name of the color (campanella white, for example), you should be able to find it on the internet, or a dealer can tell you. Otherwise, the options code sticker will have it. That is either located in the trunk, door jamb, or the owner's manual.

the vin will not give you the color. That use to be(I have to refer to older cars because I don't got newer) on a sticker in the trunk of the VW beetle(1973), same for the station wagen(1973), on the radiator bracket of Rabbit 1980,82,84 and on the inside of the passenger wheel well 1974 VW van.

Then you could always go to an autobody paint shop and have them look in their mix books. They will have the stock color for the car.

The absolutely free reverse phone lookup sites generally provide the most basic of information such as name and it works only for landlines. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book or personal knowledge and they only want your email to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse phone lookup sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse phone lookup site like http://unlimitedchecks.net/everify-518.html that has been around since 1999.

If I recall correctly they have two options:

1. Get only one report.

2. Get unlimited reports. I went with this option because I wanted to verify more numbers. This is how I caught my girlfriend cheating, I got the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and criminal-court records.

Look on your front winshield on car (not inside the car outside). Should be on the drivers side where the windsheild wipers are and look around there for a silver rectangle that should tell you the numbers.
